S/2909 Antique Treen 19th Century Specimen Woods Book Box

A small inlaid speciment woods fine quality book box, having a concealed hinged lid. The pages have decorative gilding, which is most unusual and the spine has turned decoration. The whole has a good rich colour and patination.
