S/3002 Antique Treen 18th Century Lignum Vitae Coffee Mill

A good mid 18th century lignum vitae coffee mill of traditional form and in full working order, having a removable finial to feed in the bean, which drops into the grinding chamber and then into the coffee powder compartment in the base. All the parts screw together and the spindle, when not in use, can be housed in the base. The whole has a rich dark colour, as found in lignum vitae heart wood, and fine patination.
