S/3049 Antique Treen 19th Century Birch Boat Shaped Water Dipper

A birch boat shaped water dipper, having a carved bird handle and joined scroll work decoration. The boat has an historic crack, which is just visible on the outside where it joins the handle. The whole has a dark honey colour and pleasing patination.
