S/3025 Antique Treen 19th Century Swedish Staved Birch Beer Stoop

A most unusual staved birch lidded beer stoop, having a solid beech cut out handle. The staves are held by bands of willow. The unusual feature is that it stands on four small tapered feet, which are extensions of one of the staves. The whole has a good colour and patination, and is in good condition.
