S/3056 Antique Treen Early 20th Century Anglo Indian Coconut Cup

An interesting carved and fretted Anglo Indian coconut cup in three sections, initialled W B and dated 1916-17, with a collector's inscription in ink on the underside of the base. The detailed carving is of excellent quality, comprising flower heads, scrolls and lattice work. The whole is raised on an inverted conical base and has a good rich colour and patination.
