S/3111 Antique Regency Tortoiseshell Tea Caddy

A good quality small Regency tortoiseshell tea caddy, having a divided interior with two lids each fitted with bone knob handles. The rectangular caddy, with rounded corners and lines of pewter stringing, has a silver (white metal) vacant plaque on the lid, escutcheon, stop hinges and ball feet. The whole is in good condition, of a blond colour, has original patination and is fitted with a key.
