S/3219 Antique Treen 19th Century Large Beech Cream Bowl
A fine large shallow beech cream bowl, having a flat rim with incised line decoration. These cream bowls were used for skimming the cream from the top of the milk, as against normal dairy bowls, which were much deeper. The whole has a lovely grain, colour and patination.
