S/3246 Antique Treen 17th Century Charles II Fruitwood Lidded Spice Pot

A lovely fruitwood late 17th century Charles II lidded spice pot of circular stepped and rounded form, on a short stem with an angled foot, which has had an ancient repair across the diameter. It has excellent pole lathe turnings on the interior and base, and has a warm colour retaining its original patination.
