S/3283 Antique Treen 19th Century Boxwood Cuckoo Whistle
A well turned boxwood whistle, with an acorn finial, simulating the sound of a cuckoo, having a body with incised decoration and a circular hole for one's finger to change the sound. The whole has a pleasing honey colour and retains a patination.
