S/3294 Antique Treen 19th Century Pine Butter Curler

A very tactile Scottish pine butter curler, having three carved hearts with the date of 1817, surrounded by incised lines and cross hatching on the handle. The back has two carved thistles and initialled J.C. The whole has a lovely pale honey colour and is in excellent condition.
