S/3356 Antique Treen 19th Century Birch Love Ladle

An interesting well used birch Scandinavian love ladle of large proportions, having a curved handle with a moulded edge. It has a cone shaped hole for hanging above a pierced heart, with a raised carved diamond below, sweeping down to the large ladle bowl, which is well stained and worn through use. The whole has a pale colour and retains a patination.
