S/5074 Antique Steel Veterinary Fleam in a Pine Box of the Georgian Period

An excellent quality steel fleam, having a strong interior spring and release trigger, possibly made by a gunsmith. The sharp steel blade pulls back against the spring and locks in place until released by the hinged trigger. It is contained in a small hand made well used fitted pine box with a sprung metal lock.
