S/6060 Antique Treen 19th Century Pine Flour Barrel

A well used lidded staved pine flour barrel of tapered and coopered construction, held together with ash bands that are copper studded with overlapping joins. It has an ash swing handle and fitted lid and the whole has a pleasing colour and patination. It has slight damage to the banding of the lid, see photograph.
