S/6119 Antique Treen 19th Century Bamboo Lidded Storage Vessel

An interesting and well made circular bamboo storage container, having a fitted lid and a body with carved decoration below a name of James Briggs, who probably was a sailor who made it for his own use. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
