S/6175 Antique Treen 19th Century Swedish Pine Butter or Flour Bin

An interesting staved pine butter or flour bin, having vertical handles. The lid, with a cut out handle and replaced pine locking pin, is fitted to the staved pine body, which is bound with interwoven bands. The whole is extensively decorated with punch and scratch carved decoration and has a natural pine colour throughout.
