S/6125 Antique Treen 19th Century Small Fruitwood Pestle and Mortar

An unusually small French 19th century fruitwood pestle and mortar of interesting bowl shaped proportions, having a wide rim with deep incised ring turned decoration, conforming with the bowl shaped body. The whole has an excellent colour and patination.
