S/6158 Antique Treen Early 19th Century Bone Inlaid Mahogany Snuff Box
A mahogany rectangular snuff box, which was probably made by Napoleonic Prisoners of War, inlaid with bone symbols on all sides including on the base and sliding lid. The edges have chip carved decoration and concave corners. The whole has a pleasing medium colour and patination.
