S/6161 Antique Treen 19th Century Dutch Ash Tobacco Jar

A pleasing ash tobacco jar, having a fitted lid with a well turned stepped finial. The body, with a plain interior, is of concave and rounded form, with black line decoration and raised on a similar rounded foot. The whole has a pleasing colour, grain and patination.
