S/502 William IV Mahogany Chiffonier
The top shelf, below an arched pediment, is supported by two attractively shaped swept supports, with the well figured panelled back fitted above a rich top with rounded front corners. The two mahogany lined drawers are fitted with locks and a key and are above a cupboard fitted with a fixed shelf and the base shelf. The cupboard doors are panelled with bookmatched figured veneers and are divided by a mahogany astragal, being fitted with a lock and key.
The whole is raised on turned bun feet, which are traditional for the period and is a good rich colour, in good condition and retains a patination.
