S/583 Set of Four Regency Mahogany Dining Chairs

The bowed top rail, outlined with a reeeded edge, is above a pierced and carved bar with a central floral motif, and is between reeded side supports, which gently curve back for comfort.

The overstuffed upholstered seats, finished in close nails, are raised on tapered, ring turned front legs and swept back legs in the traditional manner. The whole are of a rich colour retaining a patination.
