S/724 Seventeenth Century Oak Coffer

The two plank lid with original hinges opens to reveal a full width sized interior with a lidded compartment to the right side. The front has three attractively carved panels, with moulded edges. The sides each have a single plain panel and to the back are twin panels.

The whole is raised on attractively carved stiles of good height and the whole retains a patination and is in good condition.
