S/234 George III Mahogany Pembroke Table

The well figured one-piece solid mahogany oval top, with a rounded edge, has a folding leaf to each side, which is supported by twin wooden knuckle hinges.

The base is fitted with an oak lined, boxwood strung drawer, fitted with a lock and key to one end, and a false drawer opposite, both retaining their original brass swan neck bail handles.

The whole is raised on square tapered legs, retaining their original brass cup castors and is of a pleasing colour, in good condition and retaining a patination.
