S/127 Late Georgian Cellaret of Sarcophagus Form

The cellaret, fitted with a lock and key, has a panelled front in well figured mahogany and is raised on attractive lion paw feet, below shaped carved corbels to each corner. The hinged, angled and stepped, concave rimmed lid opens to reveal a lead lined interior and the whole is of a rich colour and is in fine condition and patination throughout.
