S/253 William IV Rosewood Sewing Table
The well figured top, with rosewood crossbanding, is above a full width mahogany lined drawer fitted with well turned wooden knob handles. Below is a green silked sewing bag, which slides forward to reveal a sizeable compartment lined with green paper.
The whole is raised on two shaped end supports joined by a ring turned stretcher and is joined to two parallel platforms fitted with concave shaped bun feet and brass castors.
The whole is of a pleasing design and in good condition.
