S/280 Early Nineteenth Century Mahogany Writing Table

The rectangular crossbanded top, fitted with a gold coloured hide with a gilded edge, is above two mahogany lined drawers fitted with locks and a key.

The whole is raised on tapered and rounded swept legs, with three central vertical rails to each end, and terminate with brass cap castors.

The whole is of an elegant design, is of a most useful size, in good condition and retains a patination.
