S/288 Marble Top Circular Table
The base dating from the regency period has a turned and reeded stem supported by conforming reeded downswept legs terminating in brass toe caps and castors. The design is in the manner of Gillow of Lancaster.
The top, now comprising of a mottled grey marble, is enclosed by a pierced gilt metal gallery of arcaded design, which dates to the period of the base.
The whole is of a good sturdy design and the base retains a patination.
