S/302 George II Walnut Dressing Mirror
The vertical, rectangular plate is within a crossbanded, moulded frame, with top re-entrant corners, and a decorative gilded inner slip. The mirror frame is hung between two scratch stock, tapered crossbanded supports with adjustable brass ring side screws and brass acorn finials.
The stepped base, with a caddy top moulded edge, is fitted with three oak lined drawers, the outer two fitted with brass knob handles, with the central drawer having a shaped brass escutcheon plate, lock and key.
The whole is raised on small bracket feet and has a pleasing rich colour.
