S/303 William IV Rosewood Sewing Table

The rectangular top, with rounded corners, is above a single oak lined drawer, fitted with a removable oak and mahogany lined fitted drawer, which is above the sewing bag compartment. This in turn is within a 'U' shaped support raised on a tapered octagonal column, terminating in a circular collar resting on a quatreform concave sided platform base, with scroll toe feet in the manner for the period.

The whole, fitted with a lock and key, is of a pleasing design and retains a good rich colour and patination.
