S/313 George III Mahogany Dressing Mirror

The vertical, rectangular plate is within a crossbanded, moulded frame with a decorative gilded inner slip. The mirror frame is hung between two scratch stock, tapered supports with adjustable, brass ring side screws and brass finials.

The stepped base, with a caddy top moulded edge, is fitted with three oak lined drawers, the outer two fitted with brass ring handles, with the central drawer having a shaped brass escutcheon plate, lock and key.

The whole is raised on small ogee bracket feet and has a pleasing colour and patination.
