The moulded cornice is above a full-length glazed door, with elegant 'S' shaped interloping astragal divides, outlined with central boxwood stringing, and the glazed area in turn framed with a lined of boxwood stringing. To the base of the door is a well figured mahogany panel.

The holly stringing on the frieze dates the cupboard to the Regency period, as this was most fashionable at the time.

The interior comprises of three shelves and the base shelf painted in dark green in the traditional manner. The whole is of a pleasing colour, is in good condition and retains a patination.
