S/324 George IV Mahogany Work Table

The solid top of fiddleback mahogany, has two hinged leaves, each supported by a wooden knuckle hinge, which when raised, makes a useful area for a lamp or display purposes. To one end are two mahogany lined drawers, the top one fitted with compartments for sewing requisites, with false drawers to the other end, all fitted with wooden knob handles, locks and key.

The whole is raised on slender ring turned and tapered legs of a sturdy design, is a good colour, in good condition and retains a patination.
