S/345 George III Mahogany Square Washstand

The recessed top, with a shaped frieze on all four sides, has cut-outs for a jug and basin etc., and is now fitted with a removable loose mahogany top with a moulded edge.

The whole is raised on square legs with a central shelf, having an oak lined drawer under, fitted with a Dutch drop handle. This is above a concave, four sided, platform stretcher with a raised and turned central ring for a ewer.

The whole is in good condition, a pleasing colour and retains a patination.
