S/351 William IV Rosewood Drop Leaf Work Table

The rectangular top, with rounded corners, is above two full width drawers, with false ones to the back of the table, so that it may be freestanding in a room, all fitted with original knob handles. Below is a barrel shaped sewing box, covered in pleated, dark green silk within a 'U' shaped rosewood surround.

The whole, raised on a tapered, octagonal column, is supported on a four-sided, concave platform base with bun feet, which are fitted with original castors retaining their wooden wheels and the whole is of a pleasing colour and in good condition.
