S/361 Nineteenth Century Tulipwood, Kingwood and Satinwood Jardiniere fitted with Gilded Brass Mounts

The pierced gilded brass gallery is above an ebony edge, with further conforming mounts to each corner. The serpentine sides, each of tulipwood with a kingwood panel outlined with satinwood banding and ebony and boxwood stringing, have boxwood and stained sycamore lattice designs.

The whole, fitted with a removable tin liner, is raised on shaped gilded brass feet, which continue from the corner mounts and is a most attractive design utilising a wide choice of exotic woods.
