S/367 George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers

The well figured top has a crossbanded edge, outlined with holly stringing, with a further inlay of rope twist decoration and is above four graduated, oak lined, attractively figured, bookmatched veneered drawers, all fitted with brass bail handles, protruding escutcheons, locks and a key.

The whole, retaining a rich colour, is raised on bracket feet of the traditional design and is in good condition.
