S/398 George II Mahogany Side Chair

The shaped top rail, with scrolled ears, is above a shaped and pierced central splat and tapered uprights to either side. The slip in seat is raised on cabriole legs to the front, terminating with pad feet and joined by an 'H' stretcher for strength.

The whole is in good condition, a rich colour and retains a patination.
