S/399 George III Mahogany Serpentine Fronted Dressing Mirror

The oval plate is within a crossbanded frame outlined with boxwood stringing, being hung between two shaped scratchstock supports with boxwood paterae and adjustable Dutch drop side screws.

The serpentine fronted base is crossbanded in tulipwood and outlined with boxwood stringing, and has three conforming oak lined drawers, fitted with Dutch drop handles, the central one retaining its lock and key.

The whole, raised on small ogee feet, is of a good rich colour and is in good condition.
