S/410 George II Red Walnut Card Table
The rectangular fold-over top, with protruding rounded corners, opens to reveal a green baize lined interior, and when open is supported by one of the back legs, which swings out on a wooden knuckle hinge. The interior has an oval money well to each side and protruding circular candle stand to each corner.
The whole, raised on four circular, tapered legs, with protruding knees, which are traditional for the period, with trefoil feet, is of a pleasing colour, in good condition and retains a patination.
