S/437 Early Nineteenth Century Mahogany Dressing Mirror

The rectangular plate is within a crossbanded frame outlined with boxwood stringing and is hung between two scratchstock supports with Dutch drop adjustable side screws and brass finials.

The base, outlined with conforming boxwood stringing, is fitted with three mahogany lined drawers, the outer two fitted with brass Dutch drop handles and the central one fitted with a lock and key.

The whole is raised on shaped bracket feet and is in good condition retaining a patination.
