S/463 Early Nineteenth Century Mahogany Drop Flap Occasional Table

The top, with a moulded edge, has two flaps which are each supported by a wooden knuckle hinge. To the front is an oak lined drawer, fitted with a lock and key, which retains its original wooden knob handles. To the rear of the table is a conforming dummy drawer, which gives the piece an attractive design from both the front and back.

The whole is raised on a ring turned column, in turn supported by four scroll shaped legs, which terminate with ball feet, and is in good condition retaining a patination.
