S/515 George III Mahogany Linen Press

The keyhole and moulded cornice is above two figured panelled doors divided by a brass astragal, and opens to reveal three oak faced sliding trays and a fixed shelf.

The base has two short and two full width oak lined, cockbeaded drawers, all fitted with brass oval handles. The whole, fitted with locks and keys, is raised on a base moulding with bracket feet, and is a good rich colour, in good condition and retains a patination.

(back left foot, handles and astragal replaced)
