S/516 Early Nineteenth Century Mahogany Dressing Mirror

The oval plate is within a crossbanded frame outlined with boxwood stringing, and is hung between two scratchstock shaped supports, decorated with ivory paterae and fitted with Dutch drop adjustable side screws.

The base, outlined with conforming boxwood stringing, is fitted with three oak lined drawers, the outer two fitted with ivory knob handles and the central one fitted with an ivory escutcheon, lock and key.

The whole is raised on shaped bracket feet and is in good condition retaining a patination.
