S/523 Regency Brass Bound Mahogany Writing Slope

The rectangular lid, with a decoratively shaped brass plaque, opens to reveal the original brass capped ink pot, a wafer slide, a lidded compartment and a removable pen tray.

The full sized writing surface, lined with green baize, opens to reveal a mahogany lined compartment to each side.

The whole, fitted with a full length drawer and locking pin, has a lock and key to the front, with brass corner mounts and strap work, and has a pleasing colour, is in good condition and retains a patination.
