S/525 Victorian Mahogany Sarcophagus Tea Caddy

The rectangular, canted and concave moulded lid opens to reveal two lidded compartments with ebony knob handles and an aperture for a glass blending bowl.

The whole, panelled on all sides, is outlined with ebony, raised on ebony bun feet, and is a pleasing colour, in good condition and retains a patination.
