S/919 Regency Kingwood and Boxwood Jewellery Box

The lid, decorated with a boxwood panel and holly and boxwood rope twist inlay, has a concave edge outlined with boxwood stringing and opens to reveal an interior with dark green velvet.

The whole, fitted with a lock, ivory escutcheon and key, is raised on brass lion paw feet, is fitted with brass lion head ring handles to each side and is in good condition retaining a patination.
