S/539 Regency Mahogany Drop Flap Work Table

The figured top, crossbanded with tulipwood, has two hinged leaves, each supported by a wooden knuckle hinge, which when raised, makes a useful area for a lamp or display purposes. To one end are two mahogany lined drawers, the top one fitted with compartments for sewing requisites, with false drawers to the other end, all fitted with small brass leopard head ring handles, locks and key.

The whole, raised on slender ring turned and tapered legs of a sturdy design, is a good colour, in good condition and retains a patination.
