S/554 George III Red Walnut Fret Cut Wall Mirror

The shaped fret cut top, centred by a gilded ho-ho bird within an open circle, is above a vertical rectangular plate, within a moulded and crossbanded frame with top re-entrant corners, having a gilded inner slip.

The whole, with a shaped and fret cut base, is a pleasing colour, in good condition and retains a patination.
