S/563 Victorian Rosewood Two Division Letter Box

The top, with two slots each inlaid with mother of pearl tablets labelled Answered and Unanswered, opens to reveal two compartments lined with decorative pink paper.

The whole, fitted with a lock, mother of pearl escutcheon and key, is in good condition retaining a patination.
