S/581 George III Tray Top Night Table
The one-piece solid mahogany top has a shaped surrounding gallery with a cut-out carrying handle to each side. This is above a full width tambour sliding door revealing a full sized interior of most useful proportions.
The pull-out base, on split front legs, has a simulated drawer front edged in ebony stringing and retaining its original brass bail handle. This has now been converted to a single drawer.
The whole is raised on square legs with a most attractive shaped apron on all four sides, and has a good rich colour, is in good condition and retains a patination.
