S/593 Early Victorian Rosewood Triangular Cribbage Board

The cribbage board is triangular in shape, outlined with a string of brass inlay and has mother of pearl tablets inlaid for the peg holes. To the center is a further mother of pearl floral decoration outlined with conforming brass stringing.

The whole, with three ivory pegs (one coloured red and two retaining the colour of ivory), is raised on three squat bun feet.

To the underneath it is inscribed: 'Richard Atkinson Esq. From his daughters Isabel, Rosa, Maria, Marion, May 14th 1845'.
